The Rabbi Alan B. Lucas Lecture Series presents an Evening with Dr. Dara Horn
Dr. Dara Horn is the award-winning author of six books: In the Image, The World to Come, All Other Nights, A Guide for the Perplexed, Eternal Life, and People Love Dead Jews. One of Granta Magazine’s “Best Young American Novelists,” she has twice won the National Jewish Book Award. A scholar of Yiddish and Hebrew literature with a doctorate in comparative literature from Harvard, Dr. Horn has taught at Sarah Lawrence College, Harvard University, and Yeshiva University, and has lectured on Jewish literature in over 200 universities and cultural institutions.
Dr. Horn will join Rabbi Lucas in conversation about her works including her latest book People Love Dead Jews, a thoughtful collection of incisive essays that constitutes a searing investigation of modern-day antisemitism, in all its disguises and complications.
We are delighted to announce the establishment of The Rabbi Alan B. Lucas Lecture Series which has been founded to honor Rabbi Lucas’ dedication to education, community enrichment and personal growth.
This program will be presented In-Person and Virtually
