Becoming a Beloved Community: A Long Island Interfaith Response to Hate

In Dr. Martin Luther King’s Beloved Community…”all forms of bigotry … will be replaced by an all-inclusive spirit of sisterhood and brotherhood.

Responding to rising hatred on Long Island, Abraham’s Table of Long Island has formed an interfaith coalition – already numbering some 81 congregations and organizations – that are planning events and activities during Martin Luther King weekend 2023 to combat hate.
