Course Description
In this series, we’ll dive deeply into Israel’s place in Jewish identity, history and spirituality. Many of us know that Israel is important to Judaism but feel unprepared to fully explain its significance across the millennia.
After these three sessions, you’ll come away with a solid understanding of Israel’s foundational role in the story, life and practice of the Jewish people. Gain insights into why, for over 3,000 years, Jews have lived in and returned to the land of Israel. We’ll base our discussions on For the Sake of Zion, the curriculum by Dr. Tuvia Book—our friend and TBS Soldier-In-Residence this December—offered by Koren Publishers.
