Purim Mishloach Manot

They were to observe them as days of feasting and merrymaking, and as an occasion for sending gifts to one another and presents to the poor — Esther 9:22

A joyous tradition of Purim is Mishloach Manot, the giving of food packages. This meaningful mitzvah reflects the holiday’s spirit of unity, generosity and celebration.

Purim begins on the evening of March 13th. To fulfill this mitzvah Sisterhood will be distributing beautiful Purim bags filled with delicious hamantaschen and many exciting holiday goodies to ALL LOCAL Temple Beth Sholom members, clergy, staff and members of our ECC and Religious School. Out of town members will receive special greetings and good wishes sent from our Temple community.

All packages will be available for pick up at TBS several days prior to Purim. An email with pick up dates and options will be emailed to all Temple members and members of our ECC and Religious School.
