Honoring a Legacy
Creating a Future
Celebrating our Teacher, our Rabbi, our Friend…
Rabbi Alan B. Lucas
For the past 28 years, Temple Beth Sholom has had the distinct privilege of calling Rabbi Alan B. Lucas our Senior Rabbi, our teacher, and our friend. Rabbi Lucas has not only been a pillar of Jewish leadership and learning within our synagogue, but a kind and steady presence throughout the greater TBS community. Though sad to see him go, we congratulate Rabbi Lucas on his well-deserved retirement!
In Judaism, it is understood that the greatest way to honor one’s legacy is to invest in the future. It is in this spirit that we are proudly establishing the Alan B. Lucas Legacy Fund.
The proceeds from this fund will be used to:
- Upgrade our video/recording capabilities at Temple Beth Sholom
- Expand and strengthen our inclusion efforts within the community
- Enhance membership engagement and develop vital new programming to meet the needs of our multi-generational membership into the future.
We hope you can attend, and encourage you to consider making a meaningful gift to honor Rabbi Lucas’s legacy today.
Thank you for making our Temple Beth Sholom community your community.
