Celebrating Zahava’s Half-Century of Dedication to TBS
We invite you and your family to thank Zahava, our golden treasure, by submitting a typed message of appreciation and any photos you may have of shared times. These messages will be included in a beautifully bound book and presented to her during Shabbat Services on March 7th.
Please email your tributes and photos to ewalk@tbsroslyn.org
All submissions due by Tuesday, February 10th
For decades, we have been the beneficiaries of the work, wisdom, teaching, and eloquence of Zahava Rosenfeld. A master teacher and scholar, Zahava has taught generations of TBS members to chant Torah and Haftarah. And she has shown us that Jewish learning is important at any age or stage of life.
Join us for a joyful Shabbat on March 6th and 7th as we celebrate Zahava’s half-century of dedication to our TBS community. On Friday evening, we invite you to come show your love during Kabbalat Shabbat Services, followed by a festive dinner together. Then, on Shabbat morning, our Rabbi Emeritus Alan B. Lucas will make a special presentation acknowledging Zahava’s extraordinary contributions to TBS. Registration form for March 6th dinner will be available soon!
