Tu Bishvat Seder
Is winter’s chill making you long for regrowth and renewal? Join us for a Tu Bishvat Seder in which we’ll taste the bounty of nature and the sweetness of community. We will explore the meaning of Tu Bishvat and the special relationship between the land of Israel and trees.
The Seder will be led together by Roya Mizrahi and Sanford Berger
Tu Bishvat is the holiday when the planting season begins. It may be cold, but you can get a start. Susan Dittman, a Horticulture Educator and Master Gardener will teach us all about Container Gardening. Whether you would like to plant flowers, vegetables, or herbs, you will have the opportunity to plant seeds that you can bring home with you. Susan will send you home with the knowledge and tricks you need to turn your black thumb green, or increase the knowledge you already have.
Plant a Tree
As is it customary to plant a tree on Tu Bishvat, a link to Jewish National Fund is provided below. We will learn about one of JNF’s many important projects.
