Congressman Tom Suozzi, Representing the Third Congressional District of New York and advocate for common sense gun safety reform, has partnered with Moms Demand Action, New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, Everytown, and Giffords. He has organized multiple March for Our Lives rallies, nationally and in New York. Rep. Suozzi also supported H.R. 8, the Bi-Partisan Background Checks Act, passed by the House of Representatives in 2019.
Linda Beigel Schulman, Gun Violence Prevention Advocate & Educator, and mother of Scott J. Beigel, z”l, who sacrificed his life to save 31 of his students at the Parkland school shooting. Ms. Beigel Schulman was instrumental in the passage of the Red Flag Law in Florida and similar legislation in New York. Her goal is to ensure that no one lives in fear of being shot, whether at home, at school, a house of worship or any place people gather.
