Please join us for an enlightening, enjoyable and educational weekend as we examine the history and current state of immigration and asylum in the United States.
- Friday Evening During Services: musical reflections and insights from our clergy
- Kiddish Presentation Following Services: Welcome Silvia Finkelstein, Assistant District Attorney, Director, Office of Immigrant Affairs for Nassau County who will discuss How Are Immigrants Coming to America in 2021?
- Sunday Schmooze 10 am: George Tarr, former refugee and representative of the Refugee Congress, Temple Member Parvaneh Sarraf, and Galina Aronchik will share their immigrant stories and experiences.
