It takes a community to make a synagogue shine – and we need your help! Join your TBS friends to learn about, and help care for, the stunning silver pieces that adorn our Torah scrolls. View, touch, polish, and learn, up close and personal, about these beautiful items and what they mean. Discover the mysteries of our Torah treasures, and learn about the Jewish concept of hiddur mitzvah – making a mitzvah beautiful! Rabbi Rosenthal will help us uncover the significance of the Torah decorations while we dine on sushi and rice bowls. Connect to each other and tenderly help maintain the recently repaired silver used at Passover and Shabbat Services. A minimum of 1 hour suggested.
