Sisterhood Women’s Seder

Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Women’s Seder!

In 1976, Gloria Steinem joined together with other Jewish women on the Upper West Side of Manhattan to share what is known to be the first Women’s Seder.

Sisterhood invites you to join us in continuing this tradition in a joyful, interactive Women’s Seder. Come to relax and enjoy the prayers and songs of our special haggadah, along with enlightening conversations and delicious food!

We would like you to share your memories of your childhood seders. Please email Robin Silverberg at rsilverberg@gmail.com or Wendy Hoffman at wphrd2@gmail.com with your memories. We will share as many as possible at the seder, and others will be assembled as part of the haggadah.

Our Women’s Seder will be led by Elaine Benlevi, our very own Sisterhood treasure.

Enjoy a full course festive meal catered by Bobby of Majestic Caterers following the seder.
